Page 4: Nuke Russia Now
Friday, February 23rd, 2007Have to praise Eisu’s art once again. Every time I see a new page it’s 10 times better than expected. I’d start listing the things I like about this page, but it would take forever. And to anyone who hasn’t seen Coming to America yet: rent it now! It’s been over a decade for me, so I’ve got it in my Netflix queue. I hope we see Gary and his wacky t-shirts again before this comic ends!

Her expression plainly says, “Nevermind! My mistake!” in the final panal. God bless good artwork. :3

Haha. Is this comic actually set in the Cold War, or does this guy just have that bizzare a taste in t-shirts?
I had assumed it was contemporary.

The comment about Coming To America is hilarious. The fact they remembered those details from the movie was dope.

Ha, I could see how one would easily think that it is set in the late ’80s, but it actually is contemporary, yes. Gary just has a bizarre taste in t-shirts.

Perhaps the shirt is just… old
I agree, the movie is hilarious the first few times, but it’s aired so often now that it’s lost its appeal, at least for me.

Judging by her outfit, style of artwork, and the whole flying on stage thing kind of makes her seem more like an Asian pop star. They’ve got some REALLY over the top performances of pure madness. And.. well, her outfit isn’t very Western (unless you go back a couple decades). But I’m pretty out of touch with American pop culture……

What’s so bad about Gary, the wire guy?
February 24th, 2007 at 11:42 am
Gary’s the best!
February 26th, 2007 at 4:37 am
As long as he isn’t controlling -your- wires, he’s fine!

We have a Gary type teacher at school.
…
I think he has that shirt.

ayaluvtoya07: I’ve decided not to give any huge spoilers about this comic like I’ve been doing for “Last Blood.” But it’s safe to say that someone will be getting married, yes, ha.

I just started reading this comic. Great artwork (really love the expression in the last panel) and intriguing storyline. Darn it..and I had a lot of work to do today, too, now I’ll be stuck reading this all Saturday!

Hey, the Russians still have WMD’s.
Let’s nuke them first.

Yay, Gary!

I love “Coming to America” (The German title is “Der Prinz von Zamunda”, which literally translates as, yes, “The Prince of Zamunda”.
).
And I share Stasia’s feelings about dating and thinking that I’d rather leave all the bother out and have an arranged marriage. Of course, only assuming that I’ll like the person I’ll be married to, so I guess I’ll rather stay single if I can’t be sure.
