ow stasia’s face on the 4th pannel almost breaks my heart, poor her =(
and parker’s worried face? XD priceless!
i don’t like bernie T_T
can’t wait for more!

LOL! Loving Bernie’s gesture on the tv set on panel 3. Man I love Janny’s personality….that’s some serious damage control she has to be dealing with WHILE BEING PREGNANT.
April 30th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
Yes, and screaming at the television will do wonders for the “I’m not crazy” plea. This was a fun episode, and I love Guy and Parker’s expressions there in the background.
April 30th, 2007 at 6:37 pm
Stasia is absolutely adorable in the fourth panel. ♥
April 30th, 2007 at 6:55 pm
“Do I have to get divorced now?”
It’s interesting to see that Stasia may actually be happy with the “marriage”.
April 30th, 2007 at 7:07 pm
Parker seems… Scared for Ana. Guy just seems like he’s thinking, ‘And screaming at the television is COMPLETELY normal, right?’
April 30th, 2007 at 7:08 pm
Goodness, this is funny. I love that last line.
April 30th, 2007 at 7:52 pm
ahhh, do i hear $$$$$$ in the wings
April 30th, 2007 at 8:04 pm
Wow, she looks REALLY pissed in that third panel….. maybe she got it from her father? :p
April 30th, 2007 at 8:18 pm
Bernie in the third panel is SO hilarious! xD
April 30th, 2007 at 8:53 pm
Wow…not even married a day and she’s thinking about divorce.
Still, knowing that your husband’s best friend has the hots for you has to be uncomfortable. The fact that Parker’s a woman and completely obsessed only makes it worse.
April 30th, 2007 at 8:54 pm
That was great!
Stasia’s whole “I’m not like them!” moment was priceless. Of course, I’m sure we all know who “them” are…
I think the funniest thing is that Guy and Parker are just standing there completely forgotten, as though this has *nothing* to do with them…
April 30th, 2007 at 9:05 pm
Bernie’s making the “coo coo” hand motion in the third panel. Nice job, Eisu.
April 30th, 2007 at 9:51 pm
Awww… Stasia. ;_;
“Do I have to get divorced now?”
Poor baby…
Guy and Parker in the background, though. Guy looks all freaked out, and Parker looks really concerned.
At first, I thought Stasia said “You hear me, Britney?!” It was like… damn, the girl’s dissing Britney Spears. Cool. XD
As always, men, great job!^^ Annnnd as always, still ♥ing Parker.
April 30th, 2007 at 10:05 pm
Actually, since they haven’t consummated the marriage, they would get an annullment, not a divorce.
April 30th, 2007 at 10:34 pm
Wow, the range of facial expressions on Stasia are amazing… just making the “I’m not crazy” thing soooo much more believable {/sarcasm}
April 30th, 2007 at 11:22 pm
Actually, from what I understand of Oklahoma marriage law, they might not be legally married anyways. The very last thing that has to be done for the state to view you as married here is apparently to turn in the marriage certificate with (from what I recall) 5 signitures:
2 from the people being married,
2 from witnesses,
1 minister of whatever religion.
If the certificate isn’t turned in then the marriage might not be considered valid at all. It’s also apparently the norm to take the certificate up and get it filled out (and maybe stamped) before the actual wedding, but I don’t know if that’s actually required or not.
April 30th, 2007 at 11:25 pm
Yes, I’ve said several times that they’re probably not legally married and that the legality of it won’t matter at all to the story.
April 30th, 2007 at 11:29 pm
If I looked up “furious” in the dictionary, panel three would be chilling right there…

Haha, I love how the sisters bite their lips simultaneously in panel 5.

“Haha, I love how the sisters bite their lips simultaneously in panel 5.”
Ha, glad someone picked up on that! Here’s what I said in the script –
“Janny looks sorry for her, trying to help, maybe biting her lip? Maybe they’re BOTH biting their lips, showing that sisterly bond?”

May 1st, 2007 at 4:36 am
When do Stasia turn green and say “Me Crush Bernie, Hurgle!”?
xD
May 1st, 2007 at 5:18 am
I hate Bernie too…
but i like his beard
May 1st, 2007 at 5:31 am
God, how I hate bernie.
In the last page he seemed so serious and everything, and now he’s nearly gossiping like that strange fan who filmed everything (Buck?) what with the finger pointing to his head and everything.
And after that voting incentive, I really don’t wanna see Guy meeting by Stasia’s dad.. that could hurt more then Parkers pinch.

Here in Oklahoma there is an unproven rumour of a law that says something about the consummation of the marriage.
Supposedly, if you do not consummate the marriage within 12 hours of it, the marriage is automatically to be annulled.
Of course, thats just hearsay, and I’ve not found the actual law that says it. It IS kinda funny though.
Anyways, still going GREAT! as usual! Just curious though, how long are the going to stay in Oklahoma? And where in Oklahoma are they?
I really think its awesome that its based here.
Keep up the good work!

“When do Stasia turn green and say “Me Crush Bernie, Hurgle!”?
xD”
Awesome. XD *High-fives*

Oh, snap, I didn’t think of that. o0 Is Stasia gonna move in with Guy, or is he gonna have to leave his home and Parker (*whimper*) to go with Stasia?
Don’t make him leave Parker, Bobby!! ;_; She has to stay in the story. If she doesn’t, what will happen to all of us Parker-Hearters?
May 1st, 2007 at 7:48 am
“We plan to put out Parker’s poster from Page 3 eventually!”
Bobby, you and Eisu are the bestest writer-artist combo ever!! *Huggles and luffles and pancakes to you both*

I’m sure Parker can be a roadie, if Guy have to go with Stasia.
However, I suspect that any “roadie-work” will be left out of the comic oÔ

It seem to me that she wants to stay married.. for what reason is not yet known.
May 1st, 2007 at 10:19 am
Bernie’s a jerk >:( I love the expressions, though, and I feel so bad for Stasia.
May 1st, 2007 at 12:50 pm
man, been keeping up with this now that I discovered how to make use of RSS feeds lol. Eisu, you are kicking major major bootie on this. Love it man.

Guy said on Page 13 that they were in Tulsa.
“It seem to me that she wants to stay married.. for what reason is not yet known.”
Well, she already has said in the comic that she hates dating with a passion and that she’s had horrible luck with her recent boyfriends, hinting that it’s because they’re famous and stuck up probably, and she said she likes the idea of arranged marriages, strangely thinking that they always work. She wants a normal guy and she doesn’t even want to date him — just wants to go straight to the marriage! She’ll explain more about this later on.
May 1st, 2007 at 2:32 pm
Bobby, is there any particular reason you set the story In Tulsa, OK? Or was it just a semi-random place that sounded good?
May 1st, 2007 at 2:57 pm
I’ve answered that a few times, I think — don’t want to take the time to try to find it. I needed Stasia to mix up two states and those states, Alabama and Oklahoma, just seemed to work well for that, sounding somewhat similar (ending with MA at least). And I thought the character of Guy would be better suited to live in Oklahoma than Alabama. And then for the city, I didn’t want to go with Oklahoma City, but I wanted a city that would be recognized by a decent number of people still, so Tulsa was the logical choice, I thought.

Awsome. It works. I just started reading the graphic novel a few pages ago and haven’t had a chance to read over all of the older threads, so please forgive me if I ask a few questions that you’re tired of hearing. Ever since I was a kid I’ve associated Tulsa with the Don Williams song “Tulsa Time”. Keep up the good work, and thanks to both of you for this awsome piece of work!

“. . . so please forgive me if I ask a few questions that you’re tired of hearing.”
No problem at all — glad you’re liking it!

Stasia’s dad looks appropriately menacing. Like a prime time docu-soap villain.
May 1st, 2007 at 5:20 pm
Jeez, Stasia’s dad scares me a bit– looks like he’s real nasty. Love the comic as always!
May 1st, 2007 at 8:04 pm
Jesus, Stasia’s father looks like he could snap Guy in half.
May 1st, 2007 at 9:12 pm
…I have to admit, I’m a little worried that you didn’t respond to my last posts, Bobby. o_o; DOES THAT MEAN PARKER DIES OR SOMETHING?! Nooooo!!! *Cries*
May 1st, 2007 at 9:50 pm
omg so i just learned of this comic, and i totally love it!!
May 2nd, 2007 at 3:41 pm

September 1st, 2007 at 1:14 am
Rofl i find it funny at the end she has this cute look to her when she says
“Do i have to get divorced now ? ” priceless gold.

I’m curious what kind of salt-and-pepper academic-looking type has time to sit around and discuss pop stars.
I mean, really, do you have any right to be *that* smug?
