Hmm. Panel 2 is cute, but also probably uncomfortable. She looks like she’s sleeping on top of him - not draped over him as one might reasonably do, but actually using him as a mattress. Her shoulder would be digging into his chest, and she’d have no support for her head.

First time I’m commenting. Been following since day 1. Just want to say that I hope you don’t mind that I wait for the whole thing. I’d rather be able to read through time and time again through one book instead of a stack of smaller ones.
Which brings me to repeat something someone said before - m,w,f is confusing, since nowadays it seems more like once a week. I know you’re busy, but atleast change the sign so we stop being so expectant, for good reason! Eisu is great

That’s how NASA launch countdowns work: the scheduled launch time is T, so 10 minutes to launch is T-10, and 10 minutes after launch is T+10. Using that terminology implies that an upcoming event is as big a deal as a space launch.

hey if it isn’t too much to ask could you guys, the authors, arrange either an RSS feed for the page or, better for you, a mailing list when you print another 24 pages of the comic.
i enjoy the comic so wouldn’t mind buying it but the m-w-f is irritating because it doesn’t update as often. from mr. crosby’s comments it seems that either he has a very good reason for it or he thinks it is a grand joke. personally i find it annoying and it seems some other fans of the comic do too.

I’m loving how comfortable Ana and Guy are looking in that second panel. Sleeping on top of him like that says a lot about how she feels about him, probably more than she realizes yet.

When I saw this page I acutally yelled out “Oh yeah Panel 2 for the win!” but luckily it’s still early in the morning so no one really heard me at work~ I love the angle of the first panel though I keep wanting to stare at her nose, I guess because of how dark the outline is compared to the rest of the picture.

Nothing bad. She’s just trying to figure out what’s best for her sister and no one’s really sure at the moment. Here’s how I described the expression in the script, which Eisu matched perfectly –

I was actually just thinking about the panel 2, and yes at first glance perhaps it does look a little odd, but I think it’s still within human limits for her head to be on his shoulder and for her to not bodily be on top of him… It could just be her shoulder on top of his chest being pushed up… you’d expect this sort of position if she rolled over, but overshot a little so that her shoulder hit guy… if she’s got *really* flexible shoulders (well maybe not contortionist flexible, but still more than I have for sure). And then I think it would probably be comfortable to cock your head so that your chin rested vaguely on your shoulder tilting the back of your head backward a bit so as to touch the other person’s shoulder. Again would require a degree of flexibility in the chest too, as it would be compressed a good bit to make that comfortable for the top arm…. but yeah I think it’s a lot more comfortable to just be beside the other person either laying partially on your own arm, or having it partially under them, or just between the two of you… Regardless, it’s a cute panel.

Did Ana get up in the middle of the night or something?
I could understand her rolling over on top of Guy, but the blanket is under her now.
Further more, it looks like it was slept on top of.
I get the impression she got up to pee or something in the night.
Then upon returning, decided he is too cute to be sleeping under the covers next to him.
And it probably happened while he was still awake, since she didn’t take his glasses off for him.
Just what I am seeing from the physical evidence.

Panel 2 is so nice. But she isn’t floating. She just has her shoulder resting on his chest, not her weight, just her shoulder is tucked up there.
Some people need to get a grip. Obviously the MWF is a goal, so stop pestering about it. The update schedule is what it is, so get over it. If you can’t handle the discrepancy, come back in several months so you can read through a lengthy archive.
And regarding T-minus, it’s used for other things beside rocket launches. The T stands for time, and it’s used sometimes in organized groups like military and whatnot.

Okay people, there’s a perfectly simple and reasonable explanation for the whole magic covers thing. Stasia was never really under them at all. We just ignore the covers being pulled over her in the last panel of the previous page and suddenly everything makes sense again. ^_^

People are looking too much into the whole “First she was under the covers, now she’s above? Mwah?”
See, Guy has always been above the covers, and Stasia is on top of Guy, and someone mentioned that there are times when you sleep where the covers get kicked out and stuff… I’ve had times when I sleep and the covers were suddenly under me… in this case, Stasia kicked off the covers and went on top of Guy, as we see in the second panel, we can’t see her leg areas, so those are probably covered up by the covers and after getting shocked out of sleep by Janny in panel 3, she got up and the covers are moved around and thus, is now under her.
Seriously, you guys are looking too much into it. We’re talking about someone who were sleeping looking at the other side and suddenly is snuggling with the person beside her, intimately looking too so is it any surprise how the covers ended up under her instead? Obviously, she moved too much and covers are moved around too.

For that matter, she could STILL be under the covers…notice how we can’t see her legs. Also, I assure you that people who really want to be close to each other can make some pretty unlikely positions VERY comfortable.

Stasia got up to visit the bathroom and was so out of it that she forgot to crawl back under the covers. Or she didn’t want to pull on the covers when she came back for fear of waking Guy. Or she just came back to bed and wanted to snuggle with him, since he looked SO adorable laying there asleep.
Plenty of plausible explainations for how she ended up outside the covers, no?

I don’t know about being scared of daddy. He might actually be able to see in Guy what seems to be showing up already: it seems like he stabilizes Ana a bit; keeps her from being too flighty (and they were only introduced a day ago).
Though traffic is going to be a bear if anyone has found out which hotel Ana and Guy are staying at. Will make it simple for daddy to find, difficult to get into.

Eisu, given how the blankets lay on the bed in the background of panel 5 (draping off the far end), it’s not that far-fetched an idea to believe that Stasia wasn’t even partially covered by them when she was laying on top of Guy in panel 2.
From that point, guessing that Stasia woke up at some point in the night and then decided to cuddle up next to a sleeping Guy (above the covers) isn’t that big a stretch.

It starting to seem like Janny must be a truly wonderful person. Sisterly love doesn’t even begin to cover her selfless care and attention to Anastasia. Throughout she has consistently put Anastasia first despite being in a condition that induces a lot of stress and discomfort. That she watches over her sister with such wisdom and discernment just adds to her remarkable qualities. As she appears to have fairly recently split with someone, or has decided to take on parenthood alone for lack of a suitable partner, I believe even a great relationship for a beloved sister might be hard to deal with. Here’s hoping there is someone equally wonderful that will find sharing life with Janny is an adventure they don’t want to miss.

AAww!! Ana and Guy are cute together in the second panel! I just found this comic, but I like it just as much as I like Last Blood. But I gotta say, it’s pretty crazy that you can pull off a great romantic comedy story line and then an end of the world vampire vs. zombie comic at practically the same time! That’s extremely impressive. I do it, too, but none of them are as good as yours!

Panel 2 is just soooo cute! And Panel 3 is…well, just play “Wake Up Little Suzie” by Simon & Garfunkel. It’s an oldie but goodie. Panel 2 for the win, hands down.
