I’ve never been part of the “OMG PARKER IS TEH BESTEST !!!1!1!!one!!1!” crowd, and this just reafirms it. I’d rally for Guy shooting her, but that would probably just make him seem more like a pirate. Maybe he will have a dream and talk in his sleep where he is like “OH NO PIRATES.”

Well it’s quite simple. She is not only slandering his character, but has implicated him in a crime, theft. How would you like it if you were accused of a crime you weren’t guilty of it?
Whoever did that certainly wouldn’t be in my “best friend” list. Much less “friend”.

Nomad_Soul takes things way too seriously. Parker actually has a brain, despite the fact that she’s a pretty crazy girl, so she has ZERO hopes of this “lie” actually “working” and it’s more of a joke than anything else, similar to the threesome thing from earlier that tons of people took way too seriously. She had zero hopes of that working, just like she has zero hopes of this working, because she has a brain and she knows that the people involved also have brains. Page 51 makes this even more clear.
You should also keep in mind that Parker has gone through quite a trauma here. Put yourself in her shoes. You’re completely in love with a girl and then suddenly your best friend agrees to marry her when he doesn’t even like her and he knows you love her and the only reason he even met her was because of you and the sign you made for her. It would kill anyone’s soul. I think Parker has handled all this extremely well and she’s basically just blowing off some steam by joking about Guy hating charity and loving the thing that Stasia fears most. Give her a break, jeez.

PARKER: WELL, HE HAS A STANDING POLICY TO ONLY BUY PIRATED CDS. AND LAST SUMMER HE AUDITIONED FOR THE ROLE OF A PIRATE IN A MOVIE ABOUT PIRATES, BUT THE CASTING DIRECTOR SAID HE WAS TOO GAY.
STASIA: WHAT MOVIE?
JANNY: ANA, SHE’S MAKING IT ALL UP. YOU ARE MAKING IT ALL UP, RIGHT?

And Parker confirms that of course she was making it all up.

Hmm. Janny is smiling — she thinks it’s pretty funny. Stasia is too caught up in the moment and thinking that Guy’s too good to be true in order to properly see right away that it’s a joke, but Janny knew instantly.

If I were in her shoes, I’d just be happy to be able to hang out with the girl I most admired but could never have, even if it was just in a friend capacity. How many fans get the opportunity she’s getting?
Her lie is clever, because now any minor imperfections of Guy’s will pale in comparison.
BOBBY: Also, I was being sarcastic when suggesting naming Stasia’s dad Tyler. I was kind of giving a suggestion without really giving one. That’s why I phrased it the way I did. Also, I just suggested the name of the prosecution attourney from Pheonix Wright for his assistant because he looked like it when he first got out of the car. I would have commented in the other thread, but I came back THE NEXT DAY and there were 219 comments, and ugh!

I do like this comic since page 1. Parker is just so cute despite her neurotic behavior. I feel more so than Stasia for some reason. Because she’s crazier perhaps? Maybe it’s the collar. The irony of this is that Stasia “plays only for the home team” and the only reason why Parker is closer to her dream girl than she could have ever hoped to be is because a man was holding the sign she made. Stasia would have just passed over a girl and chosen the mook farther down the audience.

Yeah, but that doesn’t make her pain any less. Finally finished writing Page 51 around eight hours ago, by the way. It’s the most “dramatic” page so far, and based on the comments for this page, I don’t think many people will like it or sympathize with Parker, but oh well. Hopefully it’ll be up by Monday.

This is going to be one helluva movie if someone in Hollywood would open their eyes. Or they’re just waiting for more story to unfold…
I can feel for Parker. I’m sure other readers would too. It’s just a matter of how her pain is presented. Ditto for the actual depth of her love. I know other readers do find Parker cute. Some guys must really wish she’d pitch to their team.
Oh, and I think Stasia looks cuter with her visor on. I dig that cover. But Parker is just the cutest little nut.

If Parker is as smart as we’re being told she is, there are a couple of things she really ought to think about:
If her sabotaging efforts succeed and Guy gets dumped, Parker loses access to Stasia.
If her sabotaging efforts fail AND she damages her friendship with Guy, Parker loses access to Stasia.
So as disappointed as Parker may be about the (maybe) marriage, she needs to realize that she has a lot to lose if she insists on being a jackass.

VisionAri: Your entire premise makes no sense. It’s a clear joke to anyone with a brain, Parker’s lies. The best thing to do is just LAUGH at it, which is what Janny is doing. And Stasia will simply feel a little embarrassed more than anything when she realizes that it was of course a joke.

As funny as reading the Comments is, almost everyone here is an idiot. Therefore, posting here, I risk being, by association, an idiot.
But still worth it to give my feedback to Bobby. Amazing story lines for this and Last blood. Love them both, and when you do start making films out of them, please let me know, I would like to maybe try auditioning or something, or helping with production, preferably music, something in there. I could be comparatively cheap labor. you never know.

ZOMG! Okay I just finished this yesterday (ok fine started yesterday… and finished) I adore this comic, which sounds rather gay doesn’t it?
Anywho Im totally hacked up on donuts so I apologize in advance for lunatical ravings. First off I love your characters, Im a writer myself and wish I had the art skills in order to make a web comic, have most of a story written out (the hard part would be reformatting it so there was more dialogue) anyways back to you. Your characters are very well developed even though its a mere 50 pages in. They are quirky enough (minus guy) that you can instantly feel like you get who they are yet normal enough that they don’t seem to be a sore thumb ya know? My favorite is guy simply because a) Hes pretty much the only guy around and being surrounded by girls can be rough. b) He does High School counciling so he just takes things as they come including getting married to a random pop star whose music hes never listened to and getting on a plane to Africa. Love this guy 
{Not gay honest}, next of all whoever does your art deserves a cookie, the backgrounds are well drawn and colorful (something Ive noticed alot of webcomics miss is their backgrounds) not only that but the style is similar to the characters so they blend in, they dont seem to be cut outta somewhere else and pasted into a random world, they seem to belong. Basically I love your comic XD. Kay now that thats outta the way, someone mentioned something about last blood. Are you responsible for that gem as well? Cause if you are someone deserves a big hug. Also I would love to DL your comics however only have a hotmail account and WOWIO wont let me sign up {and I dont ahve an id even though im 18… dont ask} so was wondering if you had another suggestion? And one more thing before I pass out of sugar OD… What are your requirments for updating this more often (most webartists have some sort of goal before they start adding more comics more often) Kay night all, thanks for letting me go off
