  1. Richard Says:

    nice work showing the sister, was wondering where she was during the fireworks. afraid she had gone into labor. keep up the good work guys. oh yeah FIRST POST WHOOP

  2. Demosthenes Says:

    good work as usual! yeah it’s good to know where she’s been this whole time

    just one question, is she talking to her father?

  3. Zeusandhera Says:

    “Witnessing Violence” just sounds weird… I like it.

  4. Bartimaeus Says:

    Nice to see it’s updated… Keep up the good work!

  5. Ilya Says:

    Yay for updates! Good page. Excellent artwork and writing as usual. Maybe this will finally be the page that ends the violence debate that’s been raging for a couple of weeks.

  6. SaberToothWolf Says:

    To me, the look on her face says “Oh, here we go again.” Ah well . . . makes life interesting! Though, three guesses who was on the other line in the opening.

  7. annekat Says:

    man. parker on ice, i think it would be just amazing……… can’t wait :D

  8. Alex Z Says:

    I LOVE THIS COMIC! thats all I wanted to say….well other then wishing it updated more often but thats ok everybody is busy now a days so no worries mate…no complaints from me and I am also wondering who is the person on the line at start of the strip. BTW this is my first time commenting on here and I figured its time to let the artists have some love =]

  9. baronvonvoe Says:

    I love this comic…I wish it updated everyday. I was just wondering how pregnant is her sister because if she is in her third trimester she shouldn’t be flying anywhere.

  10. Katie Says:

    Awesome ^_^

  11. Naoko Says:

    I just realized something for the first time.

    Isn’t it odd that we haven’t seen Janny’s husband yet? I mean, she IS pregnant. I mean, not that we’ve had time to see her husband, and it’s only been the course of like two days, but… I want to see her husband, hah.

  12. Ceric Says:

    Big question: If it’s her father she’s talking to… how does he not know who Denny is if he knows everything else that’s going on?

    And I get the feeling that the pregnancy is gonna come into play soon… going into labor, perhaps?

  13. Kikyz Says:

    LOOOOOOOOOOOVEs IT! Been wondering where she was and she looks so prettyful. i’m guessing she was talking to the dad, but who knows. whoever it was SHAME on them for not knowing the awesomeness that is Denny!

  14. Val Moon Says:

    If she doesn’t have her baby by natural means, Stasia will put her into premature labor!

    And if that is her father… how come he doesn’t know who Denny is? Is Denny a new member to the security club or something?

  15. Miller Says:

    I want to know if she’s talking to her dad. If she is, how does he not know Denny? shouldn’t a dad at least vaguely know the guy he hired to protect his daughter?

  16. Jillster Says:

    Is Janny talking to Dad?

  17. Ryah Says:

    Yay, new page! Lovely art as always Eisu- Janny looks pretty, and realistically pregnant. :)

  18. Jen Says:

    I love Stasia’s picture on the cell phone <3

  19. Carolyn Says:

    Parker on Ice would be the greatest movie of all time. They may as well just cancel the Oscars if it ever gets made.

  20. Jim Says:

    Yay. Updates! I was completely oblivious to the fact that Janny had her hair tied up. She looks pretty with the hair down.

  21. Kate Says:

    Janny looks so gorgeous with her hair down! She looks tired and motherly. It’s perfect.

  22. Jon Pander Says:

    I’m assuming it’s their father. Nice how he doesn’t seem to care that his PREGNANT daughter needs to rest a bit, and doesn’t know who the people are around his famous daughter who protect her. Real piece of work.

  23. Kerostasis Says:

    Either dad or one of the lawyers.

  24. Rahlyn Says:

    I never thought about where she went. Well, now I know. Good Job! I love this comic more and more…

  25. Rahlyn Says:

    BTW, hope you enjoy the dollar I gave you for downloading the WOWIO copyies. I know I enjoy having the comic wherever I go. KEEP IT UP!

  26. Lydia Says:

    Jan’s hair is nice. That’s all I have to say.. :P

  27. Leyla Says:

    Parker on Ice?
    I’d pay a lot of money to see that. Maybe Guy would ice skate with a penguin while they’re at it. XD
    I’d get a laugh for sure.

    And /now/ I’m tempted to do fanart.

  28. dragonmage06 Says:

    I wonder if Janny’s talking to her husband. I’ll have to look through the archives again to see if her husband is ever mentioned. I have a feeling he was and that’s who I’d call if I was a pregnant woman who took a sudden trip to Africa.

    Could be a lawyer or Dad, though.

  29. Matthew K Says:

    I suggest that she could be talking to someone she is on friendly terms with. Perhaps a husband or the father of her baby.

  30. Bobby Crosby Says:

    As I’ve said many times, Janny is not married. That will be addressed very briefly before comic’s end.

    I thought it was fairly obvious that she was talking to her dad, but that will be made clear soon in the comic (was going to do so anyway).

    Her dad doesn’t know Denny by name because he was just local security for the concert and then Janny hired him to help out more because he was such a giant. That’s been discussed in the comments about 50 times before.

  31. Jodo Says:

    I, for one, look forward to Parker on Ice. Hah!

  32. Geigerus Says:

    Now see what you’ve done, Bobby and Eisu? I lust after Janny even more.
    Thanks ever so much. :P
    By the way, it’s a fantastic comic. I can tell you enjoy working on it.

  33. Dave Says:

    Interesting. I didn’t know Denny was just local security for the concert. He’s so protective of Stasia - which is his job of course - but seems to genuinely like her and her sister too, and be very much part of the team. So I had assumed that he’d been her key security guy for a long time.

    Meanwhile - Dad now knows where they are. Will there be repercussions? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out.

  34. Bobby Crosby Says:

    Just to be clear, we picked up that phone call mid-conversation, where Janny learned that he was already almost to Nairobi, few hours away, which we’ll discover in the coming pages. She didn’t give away their location or anything, but I don’t think she cares much if he knows. She’s annoyed by Stasia running away and avoiding things, but she’s used to it.

  35. dude Says:

    this is awesome

  36. Jana Says:

    I had a feeling today I’d get an update =)
    The transition between panels five and six is totally made of win.
    Great job, as always.

  37. Quarion Says:

    Why does nobody seem to know who Denny is? That’s the second time Jenny has mentioned Denny and the person she’s talking to has said “Who’s Denny?”

    Also, she really does look very nice with her hair down

  38. Bobby Crosby Says:

    http://www.marrymemovie.com/main/2008/02/21/page-62-witnessing-violence/#comment-11320

  39. Lydia Says:

    I’m thinking if this were made into a movie, it would be way more obvious who she is talking to because you can hear the person on the other end of the conversation, so there wouldn’t be a need to mention it.

    I actually ASSUMED it was her father when I read this page (his cute assistant, ALAN? I think not). I dunno who else it would be. It’d be a weird way to suddenly introduce a new character, after all.

  40. Lydia Says:

    Alright, I just posted, but there’s also the dialogue. If you really pay attention to it, you can see that the caller is concerned for Stasia.. add that to the WAY he is speaking to Janny, and there is really only one person it could be: THEIR FATHER.

    If she had a husband, I REALLY don’t think he’d be freaking out over Stasia’s whereabouts and speaking to Janny like she’s an irresponsible child.

  41. Heather Says:

    Very cool.. Just a quick thought.. A woman as prego as Janny wouldn’t be laying flat on her back… Not only is it completely uncomfortable.. Its also dangerous for the baby… She’d either be propped up or on her side.. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

  42. D.B. Says:

    Witnessing Violence sounds like the name of a Steven Segall movie, man i hate that guy… man i love this comic

  43. hilary Says:

    what!? how is lieing down dangerous for the baby? How is she supposed to sleep? :S
    And yeah i thought janny might be married because i dont often read all the comments with each page, so this information was new to me. I guess it must get pretty annoying for bobby repeating himself, but at least now we’re wiser for it!
    Also, janny is pretty :)

  44. Samwitch Says:

    Where are we going now? *Sigh*
    :)

  45. Nichan Says:

    ‘hilary’-

    As Heather said, she would either be in a more upright position propped up with pillows behind her, or she would be lying on her left side. The same goes for when she is actually sleeping, obviously. It mainly has to do with nerves and blood vessels. Being pregnant gets incredibly uncomfortable the further along you get, and you have to give up sleeping comfortably until……… well, for years, really. By the time you’re healed enough to sleep on your back, stomach, or right side, baby won’t let you sleep long enough for it to matter.

    As a side-note, whoever gave you the idea that pregnant women get to sleep? =P

  46. invaderhog Says:

    oh man, I have a bad feeling she is going to have her baby any time soon… and that mean dad calling Guy a hill billy! Grr!

  47. Eisu Says:

    “A woman as prego as Janny wouldn’t be laying flat on her back… Not only is it completely uncomfortable.. Its also dangerous for the baby… She’d either be propped up or on her side..”

    Being an unmarried man, this is news to me, will keep a note for it for future references, thanks.

  48. Bobby Crosby Says:

    It was also news to me. Thanks for the info, people.

  49. Cooki3 Says:

    Eisu…

    THen are you going to change it or anything? I mean, since it would be wrong to leave pretty Janny hurting or unfomfy.

    …on ice? That would be perfect. Go for it. I’d buy tickets.

    Great comic so far! Keep working hard!

  50. Bobby Crosby Says:

    No change necessary.

  51. PG Says:

    I agree it’s safer (and apparently more comfortable) to lay on the side. But then the same women who would be concerned about these things wouldn’t be flying in the third trimester, nor would they go to Africa and risk being exposed to a disease their system has no anti-bodies to fight (malaria, yellow fever, dengue fever, the list goes on).

    Still, there are women who do all of these thinsg in real lives. And I see it as a very minor detail.

    This rocks. Keep the strips coming!

    PG

  52. Janny's so pretty! Says:

    I was about to say something about Janny, but it looks like the whole “lying on the back” thing was covered. This is also the first time that I realized that two GUYS are working on this comic. I mean, I was aware that Bobby and Eisu weren’t chicks, but damn! You guys do a fabulous job portraying your mainly female cast (up until now :), but I forgive you). Fantastic comic.

  53. Shan Says:

    Hi. Long time reader first time writer.

    I was wondering about the relationships between Ana, Janny, and their father. I mean it seems like the father favours Ana due to the phone conversation. I mean he doesn’t seem particularly concerned for his other daughter at all (that is assuming that he is Janny’s dad. Are Janny and Ana half-sisters or stepsisters? I know this may sound stupid but it would explain the lope sided nature of their relationship.) Does he tend to neglect Janny and smother Ana because of the laters career? Or has it always been that way? Or is there something between them because Janny’s pregnant out of wedlock?

    If any of these questions have anything to do with parts of the story coming up (which I doubt after reading back. Allot of my questions seem a bit far-fetched) don’t bother to answer. I’ll find out in due course.

    Anyway, thank you boys, for a wonderful comic and for reading this rambling message.

  54. Yume Says:

    Lol I’m GLAD they’re not going to antarctica! Wasn’t it said that Janny is 9 months pregnant? She really shouldn’t be traveling. O__O;; And already they flew to Africa….

    Eee.

    LOVE the comic, guys. It makes my day when there’s a new page. ^^

  55. Bobby Crosby Says:

    They have the same mother and father. He seems more concerned about Ana because Ana’s the one who just got married to a stranger and who is refusing to talk to him and running away from him.

    “Wasn’t it said that Janny is 9 months pregnant?”

    It wasn’t, no.

  56. Sierra Monroe. Says:

    I wish this was kinda’ sold in stores.
    I’d be all over it more than I’m all over archie.
    Anyhoo-
    I love Janny ( as said before ) she brings some slight reason and adult to Ana’s slighlty childish and mischevious ways. x3 <3

  57. Pamela Says:

    Bad father, not even caring that his PREGNANT daughter needs rest. *Thwacks his hand with ruler* LOL

    Kudos to Janny for hanging up on him :P And the ‘Who’s Denny???’ comment right before that…PRICELESS!!

    Seriously, this RAWKS!! ^^ Keep it coming!!

  58. Bobby Crosby Says:

    “I wish this was kinda’ sold in stores.”

    It is! The full graphic novel is in the current PREVIEWS, Diamond’s catalog. Call your local comic book shop and tell them to order it! It’s supposed to come out in April, but it’s gonna be late, unfortunately, and probably won’t be out until June. And you’ll have the option to buy it from this site as well.

  59. Tseng Says:

    What really struck me was the picture she uses for Ana on her phone. Sure, it might just be a sister thing, but I’ve got the feeling there’s a bit more resentment over Ana’s childish behavior than we’ve seen thus far. Or perhaps even some jealousy about who’s the adored pop star who gets to have highly public and irresponsible scandals and give millions to charity, and who’s the girl behind the scenes and pregnant.

  60. Viola Cesario Says:

    I want to see Marry Me IV!

  61. hydrogen-crane Says:

    Gosh, what a dad those sisters have. I shouldn’t be too shocked at his dismissive attitude to his pregnant daughter. She’s not the one who brings in untold millions of dollars. Said daughter that brings in millions risks a cutoff of those millions because her sudden marriage to a “hillbilly”.

  62. Bryn Says:

    If she isn’t in her third trimester, she certainly is big enough to be. I’m guessing at least 7 months.

    Of course, that estimate comes from my memories of what my aunts (not all of them blood-related) and my sister looked like at the various stages of pregnancy, so… yeah. I could be off.

    Also, smart girl for hiring Denny. Stasia needs him around whether she knows it or not, and not just for his imposing stature.

  63. Yume Says:

    Okay, I feel better now. I was close! Way back in page two: “Try being eight months pregnant some time.” :)

  64. Bobby Crosby Says:

    That doesn’t mean she’s eight months pregnant, though. Could be rounding up from seven and a half or less even to make it sound more dramatic, or could be referring to previous pregnancies where she remembers what it was like to be eight months pregnant.

  65. Kristen Says:

    I’d watch “Parker on Ice”. :D

  66. BradHeath Says:

    I’ve got to jump over to wowio and add this to my queue!
    I’ve got one on there myself.
    Get Tough! issue 1
    http://www.wowio.com/users/product.asp?BookId=3557

    If you get a chance, check it out.

  67. Sierra Monroe Says:

    Sierra hasth been pleased to these findings!

  68. Bobby Crosby Says:

    By the way, just saw “Juno,” which features at least one scene where a very pregnant Juno is lying on her back comfortably. Great movie, should have won Best Picture. Hated all the other nominees.

  69. Knight Says:

    Crosby you are such a tease, taunting us with a fourth movie. ;P

    anyways, i love the fact the Big daddy’s actually oblivious to Denny. unless I’m wrong, which is possible seeing as om not Mr. Crosby, Denny’s a combination bodyguard / Security chief , his jobs to protect Ana, while at the same time running the security of her concerts.

  71. Nifty Says:

    Bitch I’m preggers!…..Leave me ‘lone and stop yelling into the phone…

    kk?

    I like both of the two last panels a lot, the facial expressions are so different but so brilliant.

  72. Ilya Says:

    O_O Does this mean she already has a child?

  73. Bobby Crosby Says:

    I don’t think she has a child, no.

  74. Eclesiastes Says:

    My wife was unable to rest on her back for any of my three children after about 7 months. She liked/needed a pillow under the baby even then.

    She was a normal height and weight. The children were all about 8 pounds.

    Her first labor was 6 hours. Her second was 3. She had a C-section for the third, which was the only one when there was time to get any anesthetics.

    I see that Janny is presently in a hospital. Good.

  75. Bobby Crosby Says:

    Confused. Janny’s not in a hospital.

    EDIT: Ugh, I hate it when I realize that banned people keep posting under different names, and it’s scary that you have children. Also, I’ve obviously continued to be very mean to certain people in the comments, so why the hell do you keep coming back to the site and viewing the ads and making money for me?

  76. Neida Says:

    I think that it depends on each woman. Like my sister-in law loved laying on her back throughout her whole pregnancy when she had her second baby, but when she had her first it was too painful for her. So it honestly doesn’t matter, I think we should assume that Janny finds it comfortable, I mean she looks really pretty and comfy until Stasia calls.

  77. Jo Says:

    Wow, Bobby, I have just reread all of Marry Me and the comments. How the Hell can you put up with all the idiots who want to sound smart?! I’d track them down and burn their computers.
    Anyway, I think that you both (writer & illustrator, or w.e) have amazingly mad skillez. Holy crud.
    ANYWAY, I love Marry Me and wuz wondering if there is merchandise? Or shall I make my own? Free advertizing?
    Um, yeah, so anyway again, this is figgin awesome and I– yeah.

    So after all that crazy sentencing, I’d like to know, uh, WHY DO PEOPLE CARE ABOUT THE RESTING HABITS OF FICTIONAL MOTHERS-TO-BE?

    ….Yea…so…keep it comming….!!…. :P

  78. Bobby Crosby Says:

    “I love Marry Me and wuz wondering if there is merchandise?”

    So far we only have the first 24 pages in comic book form –

    http://www.marrymemovie.com/main/order-the-marry-me-comic-book/

    And right now you should call your local comic book shop and tell them to order the “Marry Me” graphic novel from Blatant Comics, which is in the April edition of PREVIEWS, Diamond’s catalog, which is in stores now. And yes, feel free to make your own merchandise and post pictures here.

  79. Tea Says:

    Wow. I think fans of this comic just really like to debate. Janny’s pregnancy has yet to be key to the plot in any way- so even if such things as flying to africa late in the pregnancy and lying on her back seem implausible, they are hardly fatal plot flaws…

    Anyways. Loved this comic. The character interactions were great. Both fun and revealing- even though we only actully see one character for the whole strip. Good art & writing, that is, I think. :)

  80. Arcer Says:

    Janny looks so pretty with her hair down! How many years apart are she and Stasia?
    … And yeah, we haven’t seen her husband yet, have we? Hmm… I’m curious.

  81. Laura Says:

    So. Its 4am and I’m bored out of my mind. And I’ve recently become obsessed with ‘Flair’ on Facebook. And I made some Marry Me Flair. only the sketchy Ana & Guy pics from the logo but I’ll probably make more. I know I’m lame. But if you have the Ap or want it, seach for Marry me or the character names on there and they’ll come up. That’s all :D

  82. Anko Says:

    “And yeah, we haven’t seen her husband yet, have we? ”

    We obviously haven’t, and most likely won’t. Since she doesn’t have one. This is what Bobby said earlier on this page: “As I’ve said many times, Janny is not married.”

  83. Yume Says:

    Umm. It seems like a lot of people think I was criticizing… it’s not like I think he should rewrite it… I was just making an observation. O___o; As far as I know, one of the goals of writing is to be realistic, and I was making a comment out of my own experience. I love this comic, and it’s not like I was flaming.

    If I was included in the “idiots who want to sound smart,” I find that very offensive. I guess there’s a reason I never comment on the pages, and I suppose I’ll have to go back to being a silent fan.

    Thanks.

  84. Cris.Melo Says:

    I just found this… and I LOVE IT!!!
    It’s great!
    Congrats from Portugal

  85. Hydrogen-Crane Says:

    Supid question here, but I wanted to make sure:
    Bobby, Chris is your brother, correct? That’s why he links his comic “Sore Thumbs” to yours and vice versa? (”Last Blood”, “Marry Me”, “EV”)

  86. Jon Pander Says:

    Hi Bobby, i was reading the comments and was wondering, when we last saw Janny and Ana’s father, I thought he was heading to Alaska. But in your previous comment you said:

    “Just to be clear, we picked up that phone call mid-conversation, where Janny learned that he was already almost to Nairobi, few hours away, which we’ll discover in the coming pages. She didn’t give away their location or anything, but I don’t think she cares much if he knows.”

    So I’m guessing either a significant amount of time passed between when they left and when the ‘violence occurred’ for their father to go to Alaska, figure out they weren’t there, and find out they were in Nairobi, since you just said that he was ‘almost to Nairobi’? Or did he just never go to Alaska and found out another way so he didn’t take the detour (ie, he found out from the lawyers or from Janny in a previous phonecall?)

    If it’s the former reason (time passing) in the movie would there be some sort of scene to show more time passing before they come across Christian? If i’ve worded this question badly, sorry.

    And PS, I thought it seemed pretty obvious as well that it was her father that Janny was talking to. Plus in a movie people would recognize the voice anyway.

    PPS, I like how Janny just hangs up on Dad when he’s yelling “Who’s Denny?!” Cracked me up.

  87. Bobby Crosby Says:

    I’ve said many times that the dad never went to Alaska. There’s somewhere around a trillion ways for him to find out where they were going. Good try by the bus driver, though.

  88. DS Says:

    Ok, I am really enjoying the comic so far but I can’t help chiming in on this. When you’re THAT pregnant (she’s drawn really big bellied) the weight of the uterus will compress the vena cava (a large and imprortant vein) often causing a drop in blood pressure which can dramatically cut the flow of oxygen to both mother and fetus. Mommy will become uncomfortable, light headed, and often feel out of breath and anxious in this position. I had to lie flat for a sonogram at eight months pregnant (for more than a couple of minutes) and almost passed out. She really should have a pillow under one side. Just for trivia, laboring on one’s back can cause fetal distress for this same reason and hospitals only use this practice for the convenience of the OB, even though it has been shown to increase risk of complications for both mother and child.

    Sorry, it’s a soft spot for me… anxiously awaiting more comics though!

  89. Jenn Says:

    Seriously.. Eisu and Bobby already said that Janny is NOT married!! How many more comments are there gonna be asking if she is?!? LOL

    OMG people.. Read the comments!! Even if you aren’t reading every one’s… AT LEAST Check on Bobby and Eisu’s!!

    On another note.. Mr. Bobby Crosby and Mr. Eisu — this page has been up like.. 2 weeks and I’m going through withdrawl.

    Must.. see.. what.. happens next.. 0____0;;

    ((I’ll relax — I too, do comics and know how much work and school and life events can get in the way of creating.))

    THANKS FOR A GREAT STORY!

    .. DS…

    The VENA CAVA is a Major artery comming right off of the heart — It’s no where else in the body — true, there are other’s connected to it but a lying on your back while pregnant is NOT gonna do anything..

    It’s a matter of opinion — some women are more comfy on their back — others prefer to be on their side.

    I’m a biology major and the heart is a touchy subject for me but even I know that!

    I’ve never been preggers but my 16 pound cat lays on my tummy and I have no issues.. that said - I know no women who have had any issues laying on their back at 8 or 9 months.

    ((P.S. How many times have you seen a women laying on her side to give birth?))

    —-

    I don’t mean to prove you wrong — it’s simple biology.

    As I previously stated — Matter of opinion — Some people have different comfort preferences!

    Good try though.

    Hey guys. The comic still rules, but the “new page every m-w-f” tag should be removed if we see only one update every 3 weeks. Too slow for me. Sorry, I’m just that impatient.

  99. Oblivian Says:

    When will this comic actually give updates on the said m-w-f?

    I like it!

  100. Sarah Says:

    “JT:

    Good try though.”
    ~~~~~
    Well JT, I’m a nursing major and I’m telling you that you need to go read up on the human heart and pregnant women anatomy before you call someone who’s completely right an idiot. Are you saying that the vena cava just stops in the middle of nowhere? I will concede that not every woman is the same and that there will be some that don’t have problems lying on their back but most will.
    There is a HUGE difference between a cat lying on you vs. being pregnant. For one, a cat lying on your stomach won’t shift all your nice, squishy, shock-absorbing organs away from your vena cava.
    I’ve never seen a woman flat on her back giving birth. I’ve seen them propped up by either the bed or a pillow or their birthing coach but I’ve never seen a woman flat on her back giving birth. Mostly because the OB staff knows it’s harder to get a woman to push if she’s passed out. Even during a C-section, she’s tipped slightly to the left by a pillow.
    Here’s an article I found on the subject with less than 2 minutes of searching just in case all those big words and scary diagrams in your biology book confuses you: http://health.yahoo.com/experts/pregnancy/803/whats-the-deal-about-lying-on-your-back-in-pregnancy/
  101. Sorcha Says:
    Ooop. JT got owned.
    I love how people get really titchy about being right… especially when they say things like, “I don’t mean to smash your face in the dirt and prove I’m superior… I’m just irrevocably right, that’s all.” Yeah, you’re humble now.
    Humans.
    I know about the whole birthing thing though- I’ve heared that it’s also because the tail bone curves slightly, it’s not good for the woman to give birth on their backs because they have to push the baby up out of the birth canal. In Europe, or specifically Sweden, (where I’m from), women very seldom give birth lying on their back… it’s a natural instinct to let gravity help you give birth.
    This comment posting gets very off topic… but I suppose that’s what happens when you get people hooked on something as AMAZINGLY GOOD quality as Marry Me, don’t keep regular updates and then give them comment power.
    Love this comic… and please update soon!!!
  102. Sarah Says:
    I’m sorry. I’m not usually like that but the snoody “Well I’M a biology major!” and then completely belittles someone who’s experienced what’s being debated with completely wrong information just put me over the edge today. :-)
  103. Amy Says:
    When will MARRY ME 3 come out on wowio?
  104. Bobby Crosby Says:
    Submitted it to them over a month ago. They’re being incredibly slow. Please write to them and tell them to put it up already.
  105. Amy Says:
    Thank you for the reply.
  106. Amy Says:
    I forget to say in my other comment that I did write to them.I’m Sorry for spamming.
  107. Bobby Crosby Says:
    No problem, and thanks.
  108. Jon Pander Says:
    Sometimes I like the comments even more than the comic (which is a lot to begin with).
    This whole pregnant lying on the back debate is one of those times :) Don’t argue with a nurse about pregnancy. Heck don’t argue with any woman about pregnancy. Unless you’ve carried a bowling ball or two around in your stomach for 9 months. If you have done that, then feel free to argue.
  109. StevenW Says:
    This is not really related to the above comic as such, but I am having 2 very differing overall impressions of Stasia’s dad now.
    Obviously, given Stasia’s success he has to be a competent manager, and he appears to have a very manipulative, forceful manner when we see/hear about him.
    Yet this is also the same guy who thought that that Christian -who is clearly an utter spoon- would be able to lie his way back into Stasia’s life?
    Only reasonable explanation I have so far is that Stasia’s father wanted to make sure Stasia was thoroughly over Christian, so persuaded Christian to pull his daft stunt. Either that, or Stasia’s father is not remotely as formidible as is being made out…
  110. Mental Mage Says:
    Yet again I come from the darkness to comment from the depths of my mind. Although the position of the preggers lady debate is all very interesting and everything I highly doubt it was the focus of this particular page of comic. As for my comments On the page iteself, I really like how shes drawn, Im kinda crappy at anatomy and just for kicks have tried correctly drawing someone pregnant and always just making them fat :P. I like the fact that she just randomly decides to cut off her dad and takes Ana’s call without any real warning. Shows who she prefers IMO hehe, as for the traveling bit… that really has to suck to have such irresponsible family when your carrying around a new member yourself. Please update soon :3
  111. DaftOne Says:
    …StevenW…
    It seems to me like Stasia’s father is very concerned with both his income and his status. It would only make sense for him to want his famous daughter, whose life is always in the public eye, to reflect a certain superiority by involving herself with people who are both weathy and influential, like Christian. It would not only boost his daughters image but his as well.
  112. Meagahan Faun Says:
    I LOVE the “now updating every hour” comment in the header. :P Brilliance. Dunno how long it’s been there for… but it made me laugh. ^^;
  113. JT Says:
    DS…
    The Vena Cava Doesn’t stop in the middle of no where.. It’s the direct Artery to the Lungs.
    There’s a different artery we both may be thinking of that get’s cut off by the fetus. . . I checked my book.. and plenty of sites to back THIS post up..
    I wasn’t calling you an idiot, I was just saying it’s not the vena cava.
    I’ll find the name and get back to you.
  114. Jenn Says:
    JT…
    I too am a bio major.. and just a freshman and know that DS is right.
    You should take a look at that article she gave you and study up a little more on the heart..
    Maybe take and Anatomy/Phisiology class or two before you start diagnosing? … ^_^
    I’ve never been preggo, but almost everyone knows it’s bad for you and the baby because of the organs pushing and being directly crushed…
    “Human Biology” by Sylvia Mader is a pretty explainatory and easy-to-follow book… why don’t you splurge $40 and get yourself a copy off e-bay.
  115. Jenn Says:
    DS and Sarah.. sorry.. I read JT’s post and thought that DS posted, not sarah.
  116. Sarah Says:
    Excuse me, JT. The “artery” is actually called the inferior vena cava. And it’s a vein. The artery next to the IVC is the Aorta. Both of them travel down along the spine until the lumbar region where they split and both of them can be pinched by a fetus if the mother is lying supine.
    While you didn’t call DS an idiot directly, the implication was clear. Next time, do some fact checking before you make yourself look like a condescending ass.
    Just out of curiosity, what is it you plan to do with your degree?
  117. StevenW Says:
    To DaftOne,
    I agree, but the real question is: can Stasia’s father be stupid?
    Encouraging Christian to make a peper-thin pretense that he’s suddenly changed and likes both charity and Africa was obviously going to fail pretty quickly.
    There must be other famous single actors who would not be opposed to dating Stasia, at least actors bright enough to get away with faking a love of charity. Why choose Christian?
  118. Bobby Crosby Says:
    “Why choose Christian?”
    Because he’s easy to control, and he’s not actually a bad person, but simply very stupid. He’s probably a better person than the vast majority of guys who Mr. Tyler would consider for Stasia, and he’s the easiest to manipulate. I see Christian as a crazy cross between Justin Timberlake and Buster from “Arrested Development,” and he’s trying to do what’s expected of him, but he doesn’t really know how.
  119. DS Says:
    Jenn, Sarah, thank you! Very much appreciated!
  120. StevenW Says:
    “not actually a bad person”… Well, from what we’ve seen of him so far, I’d consider him intensely shallow, vain, screamingly stupid and opportunistically vicious to boot.
    Still, we’ve only seen him once; maybe he’ll be painted in a better light later on. :)
  121. Bobby Crosby Says:
    I think everything he’s done can be explained by basic stupidity, really, which often ends up looking like worse things.
    Minor spoiler: He’ll probably only appear on one more page, possibly just one more panel.
  122. Jenn Says:
    DS…
    It’s been a pleasure.
    Maybe JT’ll think their next statement over and research it a few times before making another wrong assumption… lol
    THANKS FOR A GREAT COMIC BOBBY & EISU…
    Sorry about the commotion!
  123. Beccala Says:
    Despite the arguments about how she’s laying, I think Janny looks beautiful, this is awonderfully drawn comic. Def. one of my favorites!
