It would totally fit in to the general tone and atmosphere of this whole comic if Parker died. It could totally be really brutal, like the sun would be so intense that it would burn off all of her flesh and there could be really detailed drawings of all the skin peeling off and her eyeballs shriveling up.
I wouldn’t be surprised, the whole comic is like that, right?
Who said that Parker wasn’t crazy?
Well, now is absolutely clear why she’s guy’s frend (Her HUGE heart, I mean)
I can really see her running to Umonja, call for an helicopter and run back before it arrives
She’s a tough girl
Awesome, a new comic. BTW, my money’s on Parker meeting Stasia’s dad in another vehicle headed that way, unless the truck got turned around and was facing Umoja… or she ends up meeting Rage. Rage could get to Umoja and back in *figures math in head* um, 15 minutes. However, if we do get a LB/MM crossover, I was kind of hoping that Big Black turns out to be Denny’s dad or grandpa…
“Out of curiosity, why does Guy seem so pensive on delivering the baby himself?”
First he said “Not again” with a scared look on his face when he heard the scream on Page 73, then we learned on Page 75 that as a boy he said “I don’t ever want to do this again!” after delivering his second baby, so he obviously doesn’t like delivering babies. We also know that he didn’t become a doctor for some reason when everyone thought he would as a child. It would also kill his relationship with Stasia if he was the one trying to deliver her sister’s baby when the baby died and/or her sister died. In general, it’s just clearly not something he (or anyone basically) would want to do. And obviously it’s a hell of a lot safer if she’s in a hospital with trained doctors to take care of her and handle any problems that might arise.
when? you said ‘when’, not ‘if’, you mean if, right??
(I’m a huge fan, btw. I’ve been following the strip since page 3 or so and I fell in love with it inmediately!! (I just never post) -and I miss “No Pink Ponies” )
So if Umoja’s about thirteen miles away, Parker’s running it, and apparently Guy is chasing after her, what with him being telve miles away when the kid’s born, then I guess it’s up to Stasia to help Janny. Unless Denny deciedes to help. Somehow… doesn’t seem like he’d volunteer. Though if they’re still fairly close to the village, then I suppose they could get help from them.
I’m not to worried about Parker: She’ll get there and them start going del… well. She’d act a little crazier than usual, but she’d be fine.
As for a LB/MM crossover, I’m pretty sure that except for a possible cameo or something, Mr. Crosby’s said it won’t happen. Besides, ione’s set in Post Apocalyptic America, the other is in Africa. Yeesh.
Great, funny, and hilarious comic Mr. Crosby, you and Mr. Mokitar have a great piece of work here.
Lol Maybe you you should make a gag page of a crossover, where Parker really does run into Rage, as an incentive for voting, just for one day. That would be awesome. I think your rank would go through the roof. XD
“Great, funny, and hilarious comic Mr. Crosby, you and Mr. Mokitar have a great piece of work here.”
First off, it’s Mokhtar and secondly, that’s my dad’s name… in the malay culture, we don’t really have ‘family’ name, we have our name followed by our dad’s name, a la, Remy son of Mokhtar, I just wanna make it easier for the internet by putting my name as Remy Mokhtar, but in any case, my name is not at all Mokhtar cos that’s totally my dad’s name, my name is Saiful Remy…
Apparently Guy isn’t the only awesome one. Was it mentioned before that Parker’s a runner? I don’t remember. Anyway, she’s amazing. May her superhuman love for Stasia help her.
Why do you keep giving spoiler?! I don’t want spoilers, I’d rather just read the comic!
Let the readers speculate. That’s part of their fun. But there’s no reason to put spoilers in the comments. A simple “you’ll have to keep reading to find out” will do. Or try a more creative, “I’ll tell you when you’re older.” What better excuse for not spoiling the next few pages of your work?
See, now that your spoiler slapped me in the face with a big neon sign I don’t have to read the next few posts. At least not for a few months and I’ve forgotten about it.
I hate spoilers.
CupCake: What the hell’s wrong with you? I gave massive spoiler warnings this time and even made people scroll down a ton if they wanted to read it. Why did you ignore that if you hate spoilers so much??? If you only want to read the damn comic, then why the hell would you not only read the comments, but skip right past giant bold spoiler warnings and read the spoilers??? Anyway, banned obviously for being incredibly stupid. Also, if you thought there was somehow a good chance that Janny and/or her baby would die, then you’re too stupid to even read the comic. Also, why the hell would there be no reason to read the next few pages simply from knowing that Janny and her baby survive and that Guy’s not near them when the baby’s born? One of those is an extremely minor spoiler (Janny and the baby living) and the other should be somewhat obvious. Clearly Parker’s not going to die either (OH NO, MAJOR SPOILER!!!!!!!!) and we know that she’s on her way to a TELEPHONE, where, as someone else mentioned in an earlier comment, she can call for a helicopter, which could take Janny away to a HOSPITAL, and there might not be room for Guy and Denny (certainly not for Denny!) in the helicopter, so blah blah blah. There’s zero possible reason to assume that those are the only events of the next few pages, though. We also get Janny’s response to a question all of you have been asking for ages — where’s the father of her child? And we hear why Guy’s a guidance counselor and get his reaction to being accused of being perfect, and so on and so forth. And how boring would it be if Guy were to deliver yet ANOTHER baby, jeez. I’m not even THAT bad of a writer.
I still think that this is an excellent comic, spoiler or no spoiler. You manage to keep us interested on every page. Keep up the great work! ^_^ I can’t wait to see this in the theatre whenyou guys make this.
This whole episode shows why rock stars shouldn’t be put in charge of anything. What sort of moron drives out into the African veldt without extra water, extra fuel for the vehicle, a radio or sattelite phone, first aid kit, fire arm, etc.? Any one with any experience in Africa knows this to be just common sense but Stasia: no because I’m a rich American blonde music star, simple safety measures don’t apply to me. And she takes along her sister who’s in her eighth month!
“What sort of moron drives out into the African veldt without extra water, extra fuel for the vehicle, a radio or sattelite phone, first aid kit, fire arm, etc.?”
Someone who just got married to a stranger out of nowhere in front of the whole world and is on the run from her father and trying to figure out what to do with the rest of her life. She’s obviously not at her best. Anyway, Jonathan’s obviously banned for hating Americans just because they’re American, and for saying a bunch of other nonsense, like that they didn’t have a first aid kit, when we already saw them using one to help deliver a baby.
I don’t know how many times I’ve said it over the last umpteen pages (huh, spell-check recognizes the word “umpteen”, cool), but I LOVE Parker. As always, great job and I can’t wait for more. Will Denny be getting many more lines/much more screen time with so little time left? Just curious, Denny’s my other fav.
Jon Pander, you get mega-uber props for mentioning 1/0 (one over zero) last page. You are the first and only other person I’ve met who has read that; best “no fourth wall comic” ever. Okay, done being a little fan boy now, sorry.
Oh…no Denny? Oh well. Bouncers dont really talk that much I suppose…as long as he’s there to protect Stasia. ( You know I always pronounced it wrong until you say something about it a few pages back)
You know that you have usually about 12-24 hours, spmetimes up to three days till the baby is born after “first contraction”, especially mothers getting their first child?
I’m loving the story right now. Its very well written and extremely well-drawn. Just figured I’d drop a line of kudos. (Oh, and I didn’t mind the spoilers at all; it’s not like they’re incognito.)
Although I am glad I’m not Parker. Every time I need to run for something important its guaranteed I’ll trip… Hopefully she’s more graceful than I can be.
Fishy: Dangit you stole my joke about the giraffe! DANGIT! Pre-emptive joke stealer!
Bobby: “Guy is dozens of miles away from Janny when the baby is born.”
You’ve just confirmed my suspicion that in addition to being a time traveller, he is a teleporter. (I know, I know.. she’s probably actually delivered to a hospital by helicopter or somtehing, and when she has the baby Guy’s therefore a good distance away - I guessed this -before- reading your comment … but my way sounds way cooler)
Sara: “bobby cosby may i date parkeeer???!”
Bobby Crosby: “No, because I want to date her.”
I think Sara might have an advantage in the ‘who dates Parker first’ contest… what with the boobs and all. Then again, Bobby should get points for perpetually maintaining Parker’s fictional existence. I’m pretty sure that’s a definite turn on whether you’re a lesbian or straight.
CupCake:”Let the readers speculate. That’s part of their fun. But there’s no reason to put spoilers in the comments.”
You should well know that Bobby’s spoilers are all clever attempts to throw us off track. The truth is, and I’ve been able to discern this from careful observation, that Guy is a time travelling android from the future with teleporting capabilities. Or he might be a mutant superhero. Sort of like Nightcrawler and Cable combined, but with better hair and no blue skin or fur.
Cupcake: “See, now that your spoiler slapped me in the face with a big neon sign I don’t have to read the next few posts. At least not for a few months and I’ve forgotten about it. I hate spoilers.”
You hide the hate well, cupcake.
Bobby: “And how boring would it be if Guy were to deliver yet ANOTHER baby, jeez. I’m not even THAT bad of a writer.”
Like I said, if you had him deliver yet another baby the comic should have been renamed “Deliver Me” Hah - it’s funnier the second time I say it! Okay maybe not.
“OH NO, GIGANTIC SPOILER: Denny has a line on Page 79. Won’t have many more lines afer that, possibly zero.”
If Denny was to be played by Shaq, the less lines you give him the better… I just watched ‘Steel’ last night Still think he’d make a good Denny because of his sheer size, though.
Micah: “Jon Pander, you get mega-uber props for mentioning 1/0 (one over zero) last page. You are the first and only other person I’ve met who has read that; best “no fourth wall comic” ever. Okay, done being a little fan boy now, sorry.”
A comic which is self-referential about self-referentialism. Can’t get more fourth wall breaking than that. I just mentioned it because of that guy who thought this comic was fourth-wall breaking. But I accept your mega-uber props with gratitude. Truly I am now l33t.
May 18th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
Oh, and if things keep going the way they are now, Parker will be killed and devoured by lions.”
I would like to request that you stop using the same name as me even in your casual life. I don’t want to be in any way assoiated with that level of stupid.
“Bobby Crosby Says:
May 19th, 2008 at 2:00 am
…Jonathan’s obviously banned…”
Thank you, Bobby you are no officially one of my heros.
Hi there! This is my very first post on here, but I’ve been reading since about page 15 or so… I have to say that this is one of my favorite web comics (I read about 30 per day :D).
First of all, bravo to Bobby and Eisu on such an enjoyable comic! It takes guts to post your hard work on the internet for all to see and critique.
To all the ignorant readers out there: Comics are about putting people in situations that we wouldn’t normally be in! That’s what makes them interesting! It’s kind of the whole point! So stop picking at every single detail and enjoy the wonderful work that’s presented to you! So what if there’s spoilers! If you’re so mad about it then don’t read the comments! Easy! I don’t blame Bobby for being so mad; I get angry when stupid people believe they’re right without thinking anything through.
Hm, just a possible scenario, but maybe Stasia’s dad will find or reach up with them, and then takes Janny away to deliver? Or Parker reaches Umoja, and calls for help, and an helicopter goes to Janny’s location and takes her away, leaving Guy to complete the long journey back home…
Anyways, this is a great webcomic, I check this regularly, and I have nothing, but praise for Bobby and Eisu. They deserve every bit of applause for creating such an awesome webcomic, thats good to read, when you are feeling low =)
Aww, Come on, Can you guys think of anything else.
I can see Parker reaching Umoja, out of breath and near exhausted. Medical Team grabs her thinking she is the patient, especially when Parker can only get out the word “baby”. The mad rush to get her rehydrated lol Sorry Janny, The Helicopter is delay until Parker gets her message out.
The sorrow that fills me because of the incompetence of some of the commenters is overwhelming. Luckily that sorrow is forced out by a totally AWESOME comic. Keep it up Bobby+Eisu!
Prof B Hunnydew Says:
“I can see Parker reaching Umoja, out of breath and near exhausted. Medical Team grabs her thinking she is the patient, especially when Parker can only get out the word “baby”. The mad rush to get her rehydrated lol Sorry Janny, The Helicopter is delay until Parker gets her message out.”
Except that Umoja is just where the phone is. At least one woman there spoke English, and someone will surely figure out why Parker ran herself half to undeath even if all she says before passing out is “Nike!”
While I realize those pants have some interesting ventilation and Parker loves being in Stasia’s pants, I can’t imagine they’re particularly comfortable by mile 13. And probably rather fragrant.
Will there be any costume changes for the characters? =) Or will they deal with her father by causing him and his assistant to pass out from the smell?
I’m just popping in to say that I really enjoy reading this comic. It’s fun, lighthearted, and I could tell by page 10 that the characters were fully realized. I truly look forward to new pages and that every one is worth the wait, short as it may be.
And, I’d just like to thank both of you for sharing wonderful storytelling and lovely art with us. It’s a pleasure and a privilege to be able to read this!
During the concert, the priest had his fingers crossed, which made it an anti-marriage ceremony, so not only are they not married, they aren’t allowed to get married, even though they have fallen in love.
Later, Stasia has another concert and sees another fan hold up a “marry me” sign. She looks directly at the reader and says, “Well, here we go again!”
you know what I would like to see…Parker riding a giraffe…
it was a comment made by someone WAY up there *shrugs*
Also…Bobby you’re like my effin hero.
And if I could sir I would give you a little acme hammer that was made for banning people.
Also…I like Stasia kinda panicked reaction to her sister. It shows that even though she’s running away from her father she still has enough sense that she would go back to the main real world to make sure her sister and neice/nephew are safe and healthy.
Found your comic on WOWIO and loved every bit of it. Got many a chuckle while reading it, the story is amusing as well as endearing, and the art fits it perfectly. Great work folks, keep em coming!
“Not sure what you mean exactly, but their truck is facing Umoja — Umoja is on the way back to Nairobi.”
Thanks, never having been to Africa, I had no idea as to the geography involved here.
Also, I’m sorry I brought up the idea of a LB/MM crossover, ’tis just a pipe dream, and any incentive voting pic would be done well after MM is over, so as not to distract Eisu from the deadline, since he’s not like Douglas Adams, who liked the sound as they whooshed by…
“Will there be any costume changes for the characters? =) Or will they deal with her father by causing him and his assistant to pass out from the smell?”
Um, she’s been in Africa for most of a day already, and it’s over 100° out now. They’re “aromatic” already. Also, I’ve dealt with some people that were in dire need of showers, unless you’re already on the verge of fainting, no smell can knock you out. Besides, those are Stasia’s jeans, Parker’s going to frame those when she gets a chance. No laundromat/dry cleaner for that trophy.
Okay so is it possible Stacia grabs a hold of her life at the end instead of going with the flow and being impulsive by being the one to help Janey instead of Guy? Which is why guy needs to be miles and miles away thus forcing Stacia to grow up already. At the beginning JAney points out how all her ex’s have moved on and grown up to become succesful adults. Stacia is like a young teenager in an adult body.
I mean guy is great and everything but with his awesometicity (my friend uses that as an actual word on the daily) would he want to be with someone less awesome than himself? No I think not.
This comic is AWESOME. I love it when I find a good comic randomly. Keep up the good work. I applaud you for banning people for being stupid. It’s a comic here people, it’s entertainment. And it is highly entertaining!
“Okay so is it possible Stacia grabs a hold of her life at the end instead of going with the flow and being impulsive by being the one to help Janey instead of Guy? Which is why guy needs to be miles and miles away thus forcing Stacia to grow up already.”
Uh, what? First, their names are Stasia and Janny. Second, no clue what any of that means. I already explained in detail why Guy’s far away during the delivery and it had nothing to do with any of that nonsense.
“At the beginning JAney points out how all her ex’s have moved on and grown up to become succesful adults.”
No, they were clearly already hugely successful adults before she met them. It would be an extremely weird coincidence if one person happened to date three people who were nobodies at the time but ended up being huge stars in various fields. Obviously she’s a huge star and she dates other huge stars, AFTER they’ve become stars.
“Stacia is like a young teenager in an adult body.”
No clue where you get this from.
“I mean guy is great and everything but with his awesometicity (my friend uses that as an actual word on the daily) would he want to be with someone less awesome than himself? No I think not.”
Uh, pretty impossible to be more awesome than Stasia. Guy’s a boring school counselor while Stasia is a super rich pop star who gives almost all her money to charity and cancer research.
sara Says: “but bobby crosby, i dont think that you are a lesbian!
and parker is!
and therefore, she and i are perfect!”
In bobby’s defense, for us guys, lesbian means something different - it means ‘Hey look, there’s two of them!’
Torinaura Says: “it’s almost becoming like a dream Guy would have or a fanfic written by Parker x) Keep up the craziness”
Aw I think you just ruined the surprise ending where all of this -is- a dream and it breaks to Bobby Ewing in the shower.
Pop culture ‘Dallas’ reference for those of you too young to recognize it.
Bill M: “Also, I’ve dealt with some people that were in dire need of showers, unless you’re already on the verge of fainting, no smell can knock you out. ”
Clearly you have never been to a comic book convention.
JJJ: “I mean guy is great and everything but with his awesometicity (my friend uses that as an actual word on the daily) would he want to be with someone less awesome than himself? No I think not.”
Guy, like myself, is all about the booty. Stasia’s hot so Guy is awesome enough to want to hit it. Then again, she’s only number 2 on FHM’s hottest babe list. Poor Guy - unable to land the number 1 on the list.
I wonder who number 1 on the FHM hottest list was, actually
“I mean guy is great and everything but with his awesometicity (my friend uses that as an actual word on the daily) would he want to be with someone less awesome than himself? No I think not.”
Actually guy is a well learned likable person but overall average, meeting up with Stasia has put him into abnormal situations that have found a use for his unique skills. If you want to think of it in RL terms of relationships it might be the best thing for both of them Stasia’s impulsiveness tempered with Guys down to earth approach with dealing with problems, and conversely Guy’s relatively dull life could be uplifted by Stasia, an interdependent relationship.

first!
I love this comic. i wait and wait for updates. It’s completely beautiful and highly entertaining.
p.s. Eisu? I miss “No More Pink Ponies”
May 18th, 2008 at 1:04 pm
Yeah, guy has nothing to worry about. Parker’s a vampire. Her stamina is through the roof. She only needs to worry about the pesky sun…oh, wait…
May 18th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
Second! I love Parker; crazy, impulsive, loyal to a fault. “Only a stake through the heart can kill me!” ROTFL…:)
May 18th, 2008 at 1:09 pm
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! PARKER!! Listen to Guy you fool!!
—-
She’ll probably make it. She’s crazy and probably can’t feel the heat. XD
May 18th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
… not to forget she has stasia’s trousers ^^
May 18th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
It would totally fit in to the general tone and atmosphere of this whole comic if Parker died. Parkerrrrr!
She’ll be fine. Maybe she’ll hitch a ride on a giraffe
May 18th, 2008 at 1:48 pm
mithras, are you getting this comic confused with last blood?
May 18th, 2008 at 2:08 pm
She’s going to live, right?
Of course. You can’t kill Parker.
She’s not going to get hurt though, obviously.
Right?
May 18th, 2008 at 2:19 pm

Go Parker, go!! I know she can make it! And I love her big ol’ sweet vampire heart! Janny will be fine!
May 18th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
“unless the truck got turned around and was facing Umoja”
Not sure what you mean exactly, but their truck is facing Umoja — Umoja is on the way back to Nairobi.
May 18th, 2008 at 2:44 pm
And this comic will be Bobby’s inspiration to put Parker in Last Blood. She’ll get her own story line where she defends the Stasia zombie from Rage.
May 18th, 2008 at 2:47 pm
This comic RAWX! That is all, as you were.
May 18th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
I understand, that these are pretty harsh condition.
Still… as far as I can tell, crazy people and drunks tend to be almost invincible.:)
May 18th, 2008 at 4:12 pm
Parker is reminding me of a Lawful Stupid Knight in a Forgotten Realms campaign I play… charge straight ahead regardless of the risks.
Now, if Parker had been training for the Badwater run through death valley… I might be convinced.
May 18th, 2008 at 4:18 pm
ha parkers a nutjob and the best character ever
May 18th, 2008 at 5:03 pm
Out of curiosity, why does Guy seem so pensive on delivering the baby himself?
It just seems like I’m missing something…
May 18th, 2008 at 5:13 pm
“Out of curiosity, why does Guy seem so pensive on delivering the baby himself?”
First he said “Not again” with a scared look on his face when he heard the scream on Page 73, then we learned on Page 75 that as a boy he said “I don’t ever want to do this again!” after delivering his second baby, so he obviously doesn’t like delivering babies. Go Parker Go! Don’t let the human fears hold you back!

Guy is dozens of miles away from Janny when the baby is born.

Great, funny, and hilarious comic Mr. Crosby, you and Mr. Mokitar have a great piece of work here.
May 18th, 2008 at 7:12 pm
PROBABLY WILL BE VERY MINOR SPOILERS THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THIS COMMENTS PAGE, JUST TO WARN PEOPLE.
Billy: Guy does not chase after Parker. And definitely no crossover.
May 18th, 2008 at 7:22 pm
Lol Maybe you you should make a gag page of a crossover, where Parker really does run into Rage, as an incentive for voting, just for one day.
That would be awesome. I think your rank would go through the roof. XD
May 18th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
Denny! What’re you doing!? TACKLE HER!
…
Kidding.!
Go Parker!
May 18th, 2008 at 7:47 pm
Oh, yeah, nothing can harm vampires but a wooden stake trough the heart… and garlic… and sunli… oh krap
May 18th, 2008 at 7:48 pm
Garlic and sunlight does nothing against the vampires in “Last Blood,” just to let you know.
May 18th, 2008 at 7:52 pm
I am glad to see more updates here. I miss No Pink Ponies too (shameless jab) but I am super happy with Marry Me & excited.
Parker, I LOVE YOU! Such a great heart… XD

Okay, fine. You’ve convinced me.
I officially approve of Parker, and recognize her as a substantially hilarious character.
May 18th, 2008 at 9:28 pm
Why do they not just get Denny to carry the car the rest of the way there?
May 18th, 2008 at 10:01 pm
Apparently Guy isn’t the only awesome one. Was it mentioned before that Parker’s a runner? I don’t remember. Anyway, she’s amazing. May her superhuman love for Stasia help her.

@ Arcer
Parker’s a runner, it was mentioned here:

May 18th, 2008 at 10:19 pm
May 18th, 2008 at 11:52 pm
I still think that this is an excellent comic, spoiler or no spoiler. You manage to keep us interested on every page. Keep up the great work! ^_^ I can’t wait to see this in the theatre whenyou guys make this.
Ps. NPP Rules too. Go, Eisu and Bobby! ^_^
May 18th, 2008 at 11:56 pm
This whole episode shows why rock stars shouldn’t be put in charge of anything. What sort of moron drives out into the African veldt without extra water, extra fuel for the vehicle, a radio or sattelite phone, first aid kit, fire arm, etc.? Any one with any experience in Africa knows this to be just common sense but Stasia: no because I’m a rich American blonde music star, simple safety measures don’t apply to me. And she takes along her sister who’s in her eighth month!
Guy would be an idiot to marry her!
May 18th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
Oh, and if things keep going the way they are now, Parker will be killed and devoured by lions.
May 19th, 2008 at 1:06 am
Best Line Ever:
janny: Why don’t we have one?
Stasia: Why did we run out of gas? Im an Idiot.
that totally cracked me up, and this comic is an awesome combo of great drawing style and great writing
May 19th, 2008 at 1:56 am
GO PARKER GO!!
I love her almost as much as I love this comic XD
May 19th, 2008 at 2:00 am
May 19th, 2008 at 3:09 am
Only a stake through the heart, huh? :-J
May 19th, 2008 at 4:32 am
I don’t know how many times I’ve said it over the last umpteen pages (huh, spell-check recognizes the word “umpteen”, cool), but I LOVE Parker. As always, great job and I can’t wait for more. Will Denny be getting many more lines/much more screen time with so little time left? Just curious, Denny’s my other fav.
Jon Pander, you get mega-uber props for mentioning 1/0 (one over zero) last page. You are the first and only other person I’ve met who has read that; best “no fourth wall comic” ever. Okay, done being a little fan boy now, sorry.
May 19th, 2008 at 4:36 am
OH NO, GIGANTIC SPOILER: Denny has a line on Page 79. Won’t have many more lines afer that, possibly zero.
May 19th, 2008 at 6:45 am
Oh…no Denny? Oh well. Bouncers dont really talk that much I suppose…as long as he’s there to protect Stasia. ( You know I always pronounced it wrong until you say something about it a few pages back)
May 19th, 2008 at 7:17 am
You know that you have usually about 12-24 hours, spmetimes up to three days till the baby is born after “first contraction”, especially mothers getting their first child?
May 19th, 2008 at 7:20 am
#1 — I don’t even know if it’s Janny’s first child or her fifth.
#2 — “Usually” is rather pointless when it comes to this story.
#3 — I guess that’s why Guy said they probably have ample time to get to a hospital.
May 19th, 2008 at 7:45 am
hahaha, I love seeing Bobby get grumpy with commenters.
I don’t understand why people just can’t accept that this is a wacky story and wacky stuff is bound to happen. Just enjoy the insanity….
May 19th, 2008 at 8:13 am
Just to say loving the comic as usal. Keep up the fantastic work!!!
May 19th, 2008 at 8:19 am
oh well it won’t take long for parker to get tired and start complaining ’bout the sun heh.
May 19th, 2008 at 8:34 am
I’m loving the story right now. Its very well written and extremely well-drawn. Just figured I’d drop a line of kudos. (Oh, and I didn’t mind the spoilers at all; it’s not like they’re incognito.)
Although I am glad I’m not Parker. Every time I need to run for something important its guaranteed I’ll trip… Hopefully she’s more graceful than I can be.
May 19th, 2008 at 9:22 am
Still think he’d make a good Denny because of his sheer size, though.
If Denny was to be played by Shaq, the less lines you give him the better… I just watched ‘Steel’ last night
May 19th, 2008 at 10:57 am
Love how Bobby bans people who make stupid comments and can’t comprehend written word. Wish it was possible in real life…
May 19th, 2008 at 11:01 am
“Jonathan Says:

Oh, and if things keep going the way they are now, Parker will be killed and devoured by lions.”
I would like to request that you stop using the same name as me even in your casual life. I don’t want to be in any way assoiated with that level of stupid.
“Bobby Crosby Says:
May 19th, 2008 at 2:00 am
…Jonathan’s obviously banned…”
Thank you, Bobby you are no officially one of my heros.
May 19th, 2008 at 11:58 am
Ha, Parker rocks. Also is completely insane. And kind of stupid. But still awesome.
May 19th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
but bobby crosby, i dont think that you are a lesbian!
and parker is!
and therefore, she and i are perfect!
;D
May 19th, 2008 at 12:55 pm
Hehehehehe, Parker belongs on a tree…cuz she’s a nut…
LOL ALL BEHOLD PARKER THE FLASH!!!!
May 19th, 2008 at 1:32 pm
I love your webcomics! <3 Marry Me is totally awesome. My only question is Npp dead dead?
May 19th, 2008 at 1:34 pm
nvm, I’m dumb, you updated the newsbox a month ago.
May 19th, 2008 at 1:48 pm
So… have a good day! Keep up the good work!
GOOOO PARKER!
May 19th, 2008 at 2:04 pm
This comic gets more and more unrealistic… it’s almost becoming like a dream Guy would have or a fanfic written by Parker x) Keep up the craziness
May 19th, 2008 at 2:23 pm
Hm, just a possible scenario, but maybe Stasia’s dad will find or reach up with them, and then takes Janny away to deliver? Or Parker reaches Umoja, and calls for help, and an helicopter goes to Janny’s location and takes her away, leaving Guy to complete the long journey back home…
Anyways, this is a great webcomic, I check this regularly, and I have nothing, but praise for Bobby and Eisu. They deserve every bit of applause for creating such an awesome webcomic, thats good to read, when you are feeling low =)
May 19th, 2008 at 3:23 pm
I just have to say, I read this again and just got a flashback of a scene from forest “Forest Gump”…. in this case:
Rather then Jenny, we have JANNY yelling “RUN PARKER, RUUUUN”
… Im a cornball.. and hopped up on allergy meds.. ignore me.
May 19th, 2008 at 5:40 pm
Aww, Come on, Can you guys think of anything else.
I can see Parker reaching Umoja, out of breath and near exhausted. Medical Team grabs her thinking she is the patient, especially when Parker can only get out the word “baby”. The mad rush to get her rehydrated lol Sorry Janny, The Helicopter is delay until Parker gets her message out.
PBH
May 19th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
The sorrow that fills me because of the incompetence of some of the commenters is overwhelming. Luckily that sorrow is forced out by a totally AWESOME comic.
Keep it up Bobby+Eisu!
May 19th, 2008 at 6:02 pm
Prof B Hunnydew Says:

Except that Umoja is just where the phone is. At least one woman there spoke English, and someone will surely figure out why Parker ran herself half to undeath even if all she says before passing out is “Nike!”
May 19th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
While I realize those pants have some interesting ventilation and Parker loves being in Stasia’s pants, I can’t imagine they’re particularly comfortable by mile 13. And probably rather fragrant.
Will there be any costume changes for the characters? =) Or will they deal with her father by causing him and his assistant to pass out from the smell?
May 19th, 2008 at 6:59 pm
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY!!! Parker takes that spotlight once more!!
May 19th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
*whine* Don’t push it, little vampy.
May 19th, 2008 at 7:41 pm
Bobby you have just officialy become my favorite writer. and not just for your comic, your frking vicious to idiots. I give you high five.
May 19th, 2008 at 7:46 pm
Today is not a comment about the comment.
I want to marry Bobby because of his total nonhesitation to ban idiots! Heart heart love love, you know the rest!
May 19th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
Norman Says:
“…Parker ran herself half to undeath…”
LoLoLoL….love it.
And Bobby, you are obviously banned for your intolerance of people with Chronic Neuron Deficiency Disorder.
May 19th, 2008 at 8:30 pm
I’m just popping in to say that I really enjoy reading this comic. It’s fun, lighthearted, and I could tell by page 10 that the characters were fully realized. I truly look forward to new pages and that every one is worth the wait, short as it may be.
And, I’d just like to thank both of you for sharing wonderful storytelling and lovely art with us. It’s a pleasure and a privilege to be able to read this!
May 19th, 2008 at 8:45 pm
Parker… oh my god…
May 19th, 2008 at 10:37 pm
Predictions:
During the concert, the priest had his fingers crossed, which made it an anti-marriage ceremony, so not only are they not married, they aren’t allowed to get married, even though they have fallen in love.
Later, Stasia has another concert and sees another fan hold up a “marry me” sign. She looks directly at the reader and says, “Well, here we go again!”
The end.
May 19th, 2008 at 10:41 pm
…She does realize that blood is like one of the most dehydrating things you can drink, right?
Oh, God….
May 20th, 2008 at 12:36 am
you know what I would like to see…Parker riding a giraffe…
it was a comment made by someone WAY up there *shrugs*
Also…Bobby you’re like my effin hero.
And if I could sir I would give you a little acme hammer that was made for banning people.
Also…I like Stasia kinda panicked reaction to her sister. It shows that even though she’s running away from her father she still has enough sense that she would go back to the main real world to make sure her sister and neice/nephew are safe and healthy.
Keep up the great work ^-^
May 20th, 2008 at 1:01 am
Just curious– have you guys approached anyone with plans for a movie already? How are you going about that? I’ll be keeping an eye out for it…
May 20th, 2008 at 1:50 am
Multiple producers have approached us, things are in the works, we’ll see what happens.
May 20th, 2008 at 2:24 am
Found your comic on WOWIO and loved every bit of it. Got many a chuckle while reading it, the story is amusing as well as endearing, and the art fits it perfectly. Great work folks, keep em coming!
May 20th, 2008 at 5:16 am

About a change of clothes: Only Guy hasn’t changed any of his clothes yet, and keep in mind that Page 1 took place less than 30 hours ago.
May 20th, 2008 at 7:07 am
What happened to Guy’s necklace?
May 20th, 2008 at 7:11 am
Gonna add the necklace later.
May 20th, 2008 at 7:14 am
oh parker…ONLY parker.
May 20th, 2008 at 7:26 am
This comic is AWESOME. I love it when I find a good comic randomly. Keep up the good work. I applaud you for banning people for being stupid. It’s a comic here people, it’s entertainment. And it is highly entertaining!
Post more soon!!!

May 20th, 2008 at 7:36 am
look at Parker being all heroic, she can be so cool sometimes ^.^ Guy’s so cute when he worries.
May 20th, 2008 at 10:08 am
Anyone else get that “Goku” like feeling from Parker? Maybe it’s just the hair…
May 20th, 2008 at 11:15 am
Just a quick question for Bobby;
If you don’t mind me asking, how long did it take you to come up with such an awesome story line?
May 20th, 2008 at 11:27 am
sara Says: “but bobby crosby, i dont think that you are a lesbian!
and parker is!
and therefore, she and i are perfect!”
May 20th, 2008 at 12:25 pm
Agreed, just let him do his thing and don’t question HIS creation. Which, in case some folks have forgotten, is a work of FICTION.
May 20th, 2008 at 12:28 pm
Lol, my comment was supposed to be @Mandalynn
May 20th, 2008 at 12:31 pm
see i was right baby #4 is going to be born on the bean bag
